Technophany: Commentaries and Lecture Series
Commentaries
In addition to our peer-reviewed journal, Technophany is publishing commentaries and interviews responding to the current intellectual debates. In the past months, we have published an interview with the writer Jeremy Rifkin on resilience by Anders Dunker, as well as a two-part interview with the philosopher Mehdi Belhaj Kacem on his system of Pleonectic by Benoît Robin (available in French and English). In the coming months we are planning to publish interviews with the legendary computer scientist Terry Winograd and the political philosopher Roberto Esposito among other commentaries.
Commentaries are now available on Substack where readers can comment and engage in discussion on the topic. Find our latest posts in the Commentaries section.

The American economist Jeremy Rifkin has had a major influence on the theory and practice of the green energy transition, both as the author of numerous books on technological changes and as an advisor to China, the European Union and the Biden administration.

Part 2: System of Pleonectic: Interview with Mehdi Belhaj Kacem (EN)
BR: This is a topic, like that of sacrifice, that is rarely thematised in philosophy. It’s more the domain of theology.
MBK: That’s true. But since I myself haven’t thematised it...
